During his previous tenure, Borokini demonstrated a consistent commitment to the welfare of his constituents. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was at the fore providing immediate support and aid through the distribution of personal protective equipment, food items, and financial palliatives.

At the grassroots level, his development footprint is evident in community-focused interventions such as road grading in different communities, borehole construction and rehabilitation, and sanitation initiatives.

Legislatively, Borokini contributed to the passage of impactful laws, including the State Information Technology Agency (SITA) Law, the Education Endowment Trust Fund Law, and the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Law, frameworks that continue to shape governance, innovation, and social protection in Ondo State.
